Post-Thanksgiving Blues

After a long rambunctious weekend of family holiday celebrations,
I’ve decided to share a sermon with you.
Although it was originally from a January 1st Holy Day of Obligation Mass,
I thought it would work quite well here…

In the name of Father,

the Son,

and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

I’m tired.

You’re tired.

In the name of Father,

the Son,

and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Have a nice week, everyone!

Short, simple, and to the point!
Actually, I'm refreshed. A couple days off will do that.

I cannot begin to express my amazement over the size of that cat. Hope your weekend was great, and enjoy the week!

Can relate. After being off work for a little over a week, the realty of going back to work looms today.

I do feel a little like that first photo. Gotta hit the treadmill today. :)

It was actually a refreshing time for me, getting away from writing and online hoopla for a couple of days and spending time with the prodigal college son returned home. However, I would add, much like the fat cat in your first picture. "I'm stuffed."

That cat is huge!

Love those short, straight-to-the-point blog posts!

I was tired right after Thanksgiving but I took done time off here and there, and so today is not too bad!

There's a little of me in all 3 of those pics. Fat, uninspired, and tired. Oh humbug.

This was great.

I'm tired but I was so glad to see my family all together around the table. That's what holidays are all about!

There are some Sundays when I wish our pastor would give a sermon like that. He can be very interesting, but he can also be quite long winded.

Amen!

And... I finished your book on my last business trip. I haven't read an 'adult' book in a while so it was a super nice break from YA. (As that's the genre I write in I tend to read it a lot.)

The story was so, so good. The characters so real. Super good job lady!

You should be feeling tired from all you've accomplished. Hope you've had a chance to catch up on some much needed rest.
